Overview
What you get with this package.
Native iOS and native Android mean two teams, two codebases, and twice the cost. React Native gets you the same native feel from a single codebase — and up to 50% off the traditional bill. Codefree builds cross-platform mobile apps on React Native's New Architecture (faster runtime, smoother animations, no legacy bridge lag) with Expo and TypeScript for velocity. Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging, offline-first architecture with local persistence, deep linking, device features (camera, GPS, biometrics, Bluetooth), and analytics with Firebase or Mixpanel — all wired end-to-end. AI-native delivery on Claude Code and Cursor compresses the traditional 3 to 6 month native-app timeline to 3 to 6 weeks without cutting corners on code quality. Codefree handles app store submission end-to-end — assets, metadata, review responses, and resubmission if the first attempt gets rejected (we average 1.3 rejections per launch; we resolve at no extra cost). You ship to both App Store and Google Play with one development effort. Three tier variants — Starter for focused single-flow apps, Standard for full-featured multi-flow apps with push and offline, Complex for apps with heavy device integrations or multiple third-party services.
01React Native app with 15 to 20 screens deployed to both iOS App Store and Google Play
02Full authentication (OAuth, magic link, or password reset) with 2 to 3 user roles
03Push notifications wired end-to-end via Firebase Cloud Messaging with segmentation support
04Offline-first architecture with local persistence and sync-when-reconnected
05Deep linking configuration (iOS Universal Links and Android App Links) for URL-to-screen routing
06Analytics with Firebase or Mixpanel plus custom event tracking for the core user flows

Who This Is For
Is this the right fit for you?
This package is designed for specific types of people facing specific challenges. See if your situation matches.
Startup Mobile PM
You need to launch on iOS and Android but cannot afford to fund two separate native development teams.
Your Challenges
•Budget does not support parallel iOS and Android native development at 20,000 to 60,000 USD each
•Going native-only means choosing a platform at launch and losing half your addressable users on day one
•Previous cross-platform attempts (Cordova, Ionic, old React Native) felt janky and non-native
•Traditional agencies quote 3 to 6 months for a mobile MVP — competitors will beat you to market
What You Want
•Launch on both platforms without doubling development costs or timeline
•Deliver a native-quality experience your users cannot distinguish from a Swift or Kotlin build
•Move fast with a single codebase your team or a follow-up developer can maintain
Your Outcome
Ship to both App Store and Google Play with one development effort — native runtime performance, platform-specific patterns, roughly 50% cost savings vs traditional dual-native builds.
Need Something Different?
Apps requiring augmented reality, complex hardware integrations, or bare-metal performance that truly need native Swift or Kotlin development. Marketing landing pages or content sites — use the LaunchPad Website package instead. Full SaaS backends without a mobile client — use the Custom SaaS Application package for that.
1.App design or wireframes covering the core screens and user flows (or a design engagement scheduled first)
2.Backend API endpoints defined (Codefree can build the backend as a separate engagement if needed)
3.Active Apple Developer Program and Google Play Console accounts under your organisation
4.App store listing content — descriptions, screenshots direction, category, and target audience
Process
How we work together.
Week 1
Discovery, architecture, and project setup
90-minute kickoff call to walk through your design, target users, backend integration, and app store readiness. Codefree drafts a written architecture document covering navigation, state management, offline strategy, and API integration. End of Week 1 you have a locked scope and a Slack channel with weekly Loom demos.
Week 2-3
Core development sprint with weekly demos
Codefree builds the main user flows on React Native and Expo with TypeScript. Navigation, authentication, core screens, and backend API integration all wired end-to-end. Weekly Loom video demos and staging TestFlight or Play Console internal builds show progress in real time. You review async and flag directional feedback in Slack.
Week 4-5
Platform polish, device features, and store assets
Platform-specific adjustments (iOS-only patterns, Android Material Design), device feature integration (camera, GPS, biometrics, push notifications), offline mode implementation, deep linking configuration. Codefree also produces app store assets — icons, screenshots, store listing copy — ready for submission.
Week 6
QA, app store submission, and launch
QA testing on real iOS and Android devices, performance tuning, crash testing. Submit to Apple App Store and Google Play under your accounts. Handle review-feedback responses and resubmission if needed. Once approved, hand over GitHub repository, technical documentation, and 30-day post-launch bug-fix support kicks in from go-live.

FAQ
Common questions.
Why React Native instead of fully native Swift and Kotlin?+
React Native gives you approximately 90% of native performance at 50% of the cost, with a single codebase across iOS and Android. For most consumer, business, e-commerce, and productivity apps, it is the right tradeoff. Codefree builds on React Native's New Architecture for near-native runtime performance without the legacy bridge overhead earlier RN versions had.
Can you handle app store submission on our behalf?+
Yes — Codefree handles the entire submission process for both iOS App Store and Google Play, including assets (icons, screenshots, promotional graphics), metadata (descriptions, categories, keywords), and responding to review feedback. Submissions are made from your Apple Developer and Google Play accounts using credentials you provide.
Do you build the backend API as well?+
Yes, if needed. Codefree can build the API and database on Node.js or Python with PostgreSQL as a separate engagement, or integrate with your existing backend (REST or GraphQL). If your backend is a full custom application, the Custom SaaS Application package covers that scope.
Ready to get started?
Book this package now and let's bring your project to life. Clear pricing, fixed scope, no surprises.
Analytics with Firebase Analytics or Mixpanel from day one — screen flows, custom events, funnel tracking
AI-native delivery on Claude Code and Cursor — production-grade code shipped in half the traditional native timeline
How do we push updates to the app after launch?
+
For JavaScript-only changes (UI tweaks, copy, business logic), Codefree can configure over-the-air updates via Expo Application Services (EAS) so your users get updates without going through app store review. Native updates (new device APIs, security patches, major React Native version upgrades) require new store submissions — Codefree can help with ongoing maintenance on a per-update basis.
What if the app gets rejected from Apple App Store or Google Play?+
Codefree handles the submission and resubmission process — that is included in every tier. App Store rejections are common on first submission (we average 1.3 rejections per launch), typically for metadata issues or minor policy interpretations. Codefree resolves these at no extra cost. We do not submit until the app meets the published guidelines we have tested against.
What about ongoing maintenance — iOS and Android keep changing?+
React Native and the OS platforms release breaking changes approximately 1 to 2 times per year. Most apps run 12+ months without forced updates. When updates are needed (security patches, store policy changes, new device APIs), Codefree quotes per-update — typically 1,000 to 3,000 USD. No mandatory retainer or ongoing fees.
Who is listed as the developer on the app stores — Codefree or us?+
You. The app store accounts, the developer name shown to users, and the published app are all in your name. Codefree submits from your accounts using credentials you provide. Full ownership transfer is the default — no Codefree-listed apps, no shared developer accounts, no gatekeeping on your ability to update the app yourself later.
What is the real total cost beyond the build — App Store fees, push, analytics?+
Apple Developer Program: 99 USD per year. Google Play Developer: 25 USD one-time registration. Push notification service: free to 50 USD per month at small scale (Firebase Cloud Messaging is free; OneSignal free tier covers up to 10,000 users). Analytics: typically free tier of Firebase or Mixpanel for apps under 20,000 monthly active users. Realistic total: under 500 USD per year for most apps under 10,000 MAU.
What do I need to provide before Codefree starts building?+
You will need: app design or wireframes covering the core screens (or a design engagement scheduled first), a backend API endpoint definition (or a Codefree backend engagement scheduled), active Apple Developer Program and Google Play Console accounts, and app store listing content (descriptions, category direction, target audience). Codefree reviews everything on the kickoff call to confirm readiness before build starts.
How does the payment structure work?+
This is a one-time fixed price based on the agreed tier and scope. A 50% deposit is required to begin work and secure your kickoff slot. The remaining 50% is due at delivery, before app store submission. Standard and Complex tier engagements can be split across milestones on request. Payment options: Stripe (credit card), Razorpay, invoice, or wire transfer.
Which tier should I choose — Starter, Standard, or Complex?+
Starter Mobile App is best for focused single-flow apps with basic auth, one core user journey, and up to 10 screens (3 to 4 weeks). Standard Mobile App is the honest middle — full-featured apps with push notifications, offline mode, deep linking, and 15 to 20 screens (4 to 5 weeks). Complex Mobile App is for apps with heavy device integrations (Bluetooth, complex camera flows, biometrics), 5+ third-party integrations, or 20+ screens (5 to 6 weeks). Codefree will tell you straight on the kickoff call if the wrong tier is selected.
What happens during the 30 days of post-launch support?+
Codefree provides bug fixes, crash resolution, and technical support via Slack or email for 30 days after your app goes live on both stores. This covers issues that arise from the initial build and any post-launch app store review responses. It does not cover new features or scope changes — those are quoted separately as a follow-up engagement.
How does communication work during the 3 to 6 week build?+
Codefree communicates via Slack and email for day-to-day updates, with weekly video calls (Zoom or Google Meet) to review progress, demo new features, and gather directional feedback. You have direct access to the development team throughout the build — not just at milestones. Standard and Complex tiers also get daily async Loom demos during the core build weeks.
What if my app idea needs features you have not mentioned?+
The Custom SaaS Application-adjacent scope for Mobile covers most common features — navigation, auth, push notifications, offline mode, device integrations, and analytics. If you need something specialised (payment gateways beyond Stripe or Razorpay, video streaming, complex animations, AR overlays), describe it in the booking questions during the kickoff call and Codefree will confirm feasibility or adjust scope and pricing accordingly.
